Following a full eye exam, a comprehensive dry eye assessment may be needed. This comprises of a 45 minute examination to determine the cause and a management plan of what can be a very persistent and uncomfortable condition. We will be able to do lid therapy during the consultation, discuss individualized treatment options which may include drops, changes in diet, medication or the use of warm compresses. As this is a chronic condition, we recommend follow up appointments to enable us to provide the best care.
